

CAPTCHA is useful for bots, but it doesn’t guarantee clean lead data. Many duplicates come from real user behavior, slow confirmation, refresh resubmission, or repeated identities using the same email or phone.
If your goal is clean leads, enforce unique values for key fields like email or phone before a submission is accepted. This blocks duplicates regardless of whether the visitor is a bot or a human.
CAPTCHA is a filter. Uniqueness is data protection. If you rely on leads, you need both.
