Facebook User Data Deletion Instructions

VerseLabWP by BITSTRUCT SRL (“we”, “us”) provides optional Facebook (Meta) integration through its WordPress plugin NeuroContent.

This page explains how users can request deletion of data processed in connection with Facebook.

What Facebook data we process

If you connect NeuroContent to Facebook, we may temporarily process and store the following data only to provide the requested functionality:

Facebook Page ID and Page name selected by you
Encrypted Facebook Page access token (server-side only)
Connection metadata (connection time, token status, scheduling metadata for queued posts)

We do not access personal Facebook profiles, private messages, friends lists, or user content outside the granted permissions.

How to delete Facebook-related data

You have two ways to request deletion of Facebook-related data:

Option 1: Disconnect from within the plugin (recommended)

You can disconnect NeuroContent from Facebook at any time directly from the WordPress admin area:

Open your WordPress admin dashboard
Go to NeuroContent → Social / Facebook settings
Click Disconnect from Facebook

Once disconnected:

The Facebook connection is marked as disconnected in our systems
Stored Facebook access tokens are invalidated and no longer used
No further data is sent to Facebook
No further Facebook posts are published or scheduled

Data deletion after disconnect

After disconnection:

Facebook-related data stored in WordPress (such as selected Page ID and local connection settings) is removed immediately from the WordPress site
Facebook access tokens and related connection data stored on our servers are retained only for a limited period and securely deleted within a reasonable technical timeframe, in accordance with security, logging, and compliance requirements

During this period, the data is not actively used, not shared, and not processed for any purpose other than secure deletion and audit integrity.

Option 2: Manual deletion request

If you no longer have access to the plugin or site, you may request deletion by email:

Please include:

The website domain where NeuroContent was installed
The Facebook Page name or ID (if known)

We may request additional information to verify ownership before processing the request.

Scope of deletion

This deletion applies only to data processed by VerseLabWP / NeuroContent.

For data stored by Meta (Facebook), please refer to Facebook’s own data management tools and policies.

Legal basis

Facebook-related data is processed:

Only after explicit user authorization
Only for the purpose of publishing or scheduling posts on Facebook Pages selected by the user
Based on contract performance and user request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))
